Richmond Mayor proclaims January 16 as Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Day

On January 16, 2020, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. will celebrate 100 years of dedication to scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood. Locally, Alpha Phi Zeta Chapter was chartered in 1942 at the Richmond YMCA, and has a longstanding record of serving the greater Richmond community.

During the chapter's Founders' Day celebration luncheon, Mayor Levar Stoney presented the current and past presidents of Alpha Phi Zeta Chapter with a proclamation acknowledging its commitment to service, and deeming January 16 now and each year.
